Third song on album FWIW is a ballad love song statuate the fact that you can carry a person in your heart for all eternity not going the last mile to get fulfillment in your love life. In My Heart is written back in 2020 and now this is third version of this beautiful song. First version was meant to be a cover of a well-known Danish hit song called ‘Lyse Nætter’, but the original composers declined our offer to give it an English lyric to go on the international scene. Therefore, I decided to make a different melody to this song which by that time in 2021 was even better than our first. I say ours because I got my daughter’s beautiful voice to sing In My Heart back then and we went to a pro-studio to get it mix/mastered. Well now for the thoughts of this final version of proudly written lyrics. It builds perfectly to chorus where you can feel the longing and heartache in every line from this fantastic singer Rubert Hinges.
Instruments like Rhodes keyboards were very hot in the 80’s and used very well in this song along with slight sense of that Long Play vinyl record sound with surface noise we got back then. Again, if you are in the right mood, it surely will give you goosebumps.
